Song of the South Seas is the story of Tongan born musician Bill Sevesi who was partly responsible for popularising Hawain style music and Hawain Slide Guitar in New Zealand and the South Pacific.

This charming little film chroncles Bill's early life moving from Tonga to New Zealand at age 9 and his career as a song writer and band leader playing with some of the cream of the South Pacific's musicians, dancers and performers.
