Cave In - TV Feature film

Cave In is a US Teli-Feature set in a flooded coal mine in Pennsylvania USA. This 'based on a true story' tale recreated the events leading up to the accident and the ensuing rescue mission.
The film was shot on location and in studios in Auckland New Zealand. All of the coal mine scenes were created as sets and involved building a labyrinth of tunnels, shafts, elevators etc.. The project involved some large and miniature physical FX and included building a concrete weir/SPFX pool for flooding tunnels etc..
