Images of Metamorphosis II. One of two interactive totems created for WOMAD 2013.

By day kids could blow into a microphone at the base (mounted in a bubble wand), creating bubbles on a screen & causing bubbles to stream from the top! This was only possible every 90 seconds when an animated on-screen bubble wand would rise up and its bubble mix quiver enticingly in a virtual breeze.

By night Meta II reacted to energetic movement captured by a web-cam and turned into kalaedascopic mandala, cycling through different colour and chase states until finally belching smoke from the mouths/eyes of Fane Flaws illustrations at the top.  This was a real hit with kids and adults alike!
